Chest Binding and where to get binders:

I recommend the 997 or the 983 from Underworks.

997, is nice to compress both stomach and chest, 983, (doesn’t come to the stomach like the picture kind of like a sports bra) easier to work out in, and as well as put on. Choose a binder that is a size smaller than your chest it will compress your chest more.

How to make a cheap “binder” until you can afford an actual one

(courtesy of ethanmakai)

1. Buy this $10 shirt or the sleeveless viersion they sell in the spring/summer: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Starter-Men-s-Short-Sleeve-Compression-Tee/11037537

(Note from me Kimmy: This is a good cheap alternative… But only if you are a smaller chested guy. If you have a rather large chest, this isn’t going to help you as well as the actual binder will. Especially when you get up to the doubles and triples of sizes. But, you can alway use it as a started binder until you can afford the real thing. You can also do two of these and make one of them smaller than the other. Don’t forget remember to practice binder health/safety. You should only wear if for 6-8hrs at the MAX 10.)

2. Try it on and see how much you want to take out the first go around. REMEMBER: you can always sew it to be tighter but it…
